LaTashia Satterfield Ogunlana is passionate about seeing the church become resilient in its role as the “community center”. LaTashia is a firm believer that when churches have a strong faith foundation, they are able to improve the lives of the surrounding community, affecting change in overall society.

After completing her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, LaTashia pursued a Master of Divinity at Virginia Union University Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology. She later earned an Associate Certificate in Project Management from ESI & George Washington University.

A strong strategist, LaTashia excels in analytical, logical, and objectively critical thinking. These skills have informed her professional work, which includes financial and enterprise system implementation and training, compliance training, and audit management, and spans leadership roles such as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President Budget and Grants, Interim Director of Finance, Interim Deputy Chief of Party.

Currently, she serves as an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. In her ministry, LaTashia emphasizes holistic wellness and seeks to tell the world about a Saviour who is awesome and great.
