Dustin Bell

COO

Dustin is thrilled to be serving on a team that is committed to overcoming the complex challenges presented by poverty and injustice with systemic, sustainable solutions. He believes the right posture to tackle these challenges is one of humble inquiry and learning. His hope is that Tearfund USA better equips Christians and the Church to serve as a light on a hill, marked by abundant generosity, a commitment to justice, the courage to stand with the oppressed, and intellectual honesty.

His role at Tearfund supports the entire organization as he leads strategic planning and oversees accounting and finance functions. He is also responsible for Tearfund’s marketing efforts, where he’s always looking for ways to serve and add value to the lives of Tearfund supporters. (If you have ideas, send them his way!)

Dustin holds an MBA from Eastern University, with a focus in economic development. He also earned a Master of Theology from Regent College in Vancouver, BC.

Before joining Tearfund, Dustin worked in various business and international development contexts. Most recently, he served seven years with a Fortune 50 company, directing marketing and strategy functions. Before that, he held various strategy and operations leadership roles in international development organizations and businesses, as well as serving as a senior pastor.

Dustin lives with his wife and two daughters in the south Denver area. When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find him jogging on a local trail or trekking up a Front Range mountain.
