We are gathering pastors who represent churches who are passionate about local and global justice -- this is why you have been invited to join us as you are one who takes Biblical justice seriously. As we look to build out Tearfund's discipleship tools and campaigns in the future we want to ensure we don't play into the past paradigms of either focusing on local or global, but truly helping people embrace justice across the spectrum. We want to dream together, learn together, and encourage each other.
We are going to convene (May 31 - June 2) at Forest City Church in Rockford, IL. This will be for a time of fellowship, prayer and mutual learning as we seek together to build a unified global Christian voice and movement for justice. We will be centering our conversations around racial justice, gender equality and environmental justice.
