Marc Antoine

VP of International Programs

Marc believes that the diaspora in the US, and especially young people, can play a fundamental role in the advancement of God's kingdom around the world. He preaches that 3rd culture christians have a unique understanding of people, culture and Christianity. The balance and perspective they hold can help navigate the challenges of a modern world using the theory and practice of Integral Mission to transform lives and communities.
Marc grew up as a Haitian immigrant in the US, in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. The life of Nehemiah influenced Marc to return to Haiti in 2015. After earning a M.Div and a MA in International Development, Marc landed an internship with Tearfund UK in Haiti and after 4 months he became a full-time Tearfund employee. Serving in a number of roles, Marc eventually became the Country Director for Tearfund and has led the country program since 2019 before joining the Tearfund USA team.
Marc's time in Haiti has been marked by the youth-focused, enterprise-led development work, creating job models that can be replicated throughout the country. Marc has also dedicated time to improving disaster preparedness and response which has led to strong local humanitarian partners and methods that are efficient, cohesive, and transformative.
Marc is married to Stephanie and they have two baby boys, Nehemiah and Hezekiah. The family is dedicated to living for King (Jesus) and working for Country (Haiti). Marc travels the world as an itinerant preacher and social justice advocate and is looking forward to mobilizing diaspora communities in the USA towards the fight against poverty.
