Heidi is a seasoned international development leader who is passionate about empowering individuals, families, and communities to create sustainable change. With years of experience in grant management and program operations, she is dedicated to connecting organizations and developing people to support vulnerable and marginalized individuals and communities.
Heidi earned her BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and later went on to pursue an MA in International Development from Eastern University.
Prior to joining Tearfund USA, Heidi served in a variety of leadership and management roles at Compassion International, where she oversaw grant-based programs in 25 countries. Through her work, Heidi developed a deep appreciation for quality, local-led, and sustainable programs developed in partnership with the local church.
At Tearfund USA, Heidi is committed to using her knowledge and experience to support and grow the ministry's focus on equipping and empowering individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to create lasting change for themselves and their families.
Heidi's love for exploring new cultures and cuisines is evident in her love for traveling the world. When she is not busy with work, she enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors as well as spending time with family and friends in her hometown of Colorado Springs.
