Conflict destroys individuals, communities and entire societies. But when people across social divides address root causes, they are strengthened in their response to crises and make sustainable change a possibility.
Because we believe that humans are made in the image of God, we understand that relationships and community are essential to human life and flourishing. In fact, it isn’t just the case that we need relationships and community; rather, we are made to be with one another.
That's why we equip movements of peacebuilders, churches and communities to work together to prevent and respond to conflict.
- We counter the issues that drive conflict, with a particular emphasis on building resilience and restoring broken relationships.
- We work with individuals to nurture, equip and connect them, enabling them to form movements of peacebuilders locally, regionally and nationally.
- We work through churches, enabling them to fulfill their role as peacebuilders.
